Amy Munroe has a practice specialty in “Womens Mental Health”. What does this mean? Women are faced with challenges in their everyday lives and she has found enjoyment in helping women of all ages with some of these challenges; professional development, body image, infertility, depression, anxiety, educational choices, family dynamics, parenting, relationships etc. In Amy's experience, women are often better suited to multitasking and managing multiple tasks, but sometimes support and therapy is needed to give additional support in order to make it all work.
Amy utilizes several treatment modalities depending on what is more appropriate for you; Client Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Goal Oriented Therapy.
Amy's practice is based out of San Diego, CA. However, through telehealth she is able to meet with clients across the state of CA. She is available Monday-Friday as well as 1-2 Saturdays per month. Also, she is typically able to find a session time within one week of you calling to seek an appointment.
