Trauma-Informed Therapy for Black Women & Women of Color - Reclaim Your Calm

Ana Maria is a compassionate and skilled therapist with a focus on supporting Black women and women of color navigating an increasingly hostile world.

Are you a high-achieving professional who looks like you have it all together, but secretly feel:

* Disconnected from yourself?

* Overwhelmed and constantly on the edge of burnout?

* Drained by the long-term impact of racial trauma and identity fatigue?

* Struggling with perfectionism and suppressed emotional pain?

If so, you're not alone. Ana Maria understands.

Ana Maria provides a safe and empowering space to finally slow down, reconnect to your body, and reclaim the parts of yourself you've silenced for too long. She helps you move beyond just talking about your problems, to feeling the shift within your body and mind.

Ana Maria uses a powerful blend of evidence-based techniques, including:

* Brainspotting: For targeted trauma processing.

* Somatic Practices: To release stored stress and tension in the body.

* Nervous System Regulation: To build resilience and manage overwhelming emotions.

* Trauma-Informed Talk Therapy: A compassionate and validating approach to healing.

* Gottman Method (for couples): Fostering healthy communication and connection, while prioritizing nervous system harmony and relational repair.

Sessions with Ana Maria are active, embodied, and deeply restorative. You'll experience more than just talk, you'll feel a full recalibration of your mind-body connection. It's a chance to exhale, without having to explain your existence.

If you're ready to prioritize your well-being and experience therapy that truly sees you, reach out to Ana Maria today. Schedule a consultation to see if she's the right fit for your journey.

Message to clients

A Few Thoughts From Me:

If you're considering working with me, I want you to know that I approach therapy with a deep respect for your lived experience and a commitment to creating a safe and validating space. I understand that reaching out for support can be a vulnerable step, especially for Black women and women of color who may have faced barriers to culturally competent care in the past. My goal is to provide therapy that truly sees you, honors your resilience, and empowers you to heal at your own pace.

As a therapist specializing in mind-body medicine and trauma recovery and soon to be a PhD in Mind-Body Medicine. I'm passionate about helping you reconnect with your inner wisdom and tap into your body's innate capacity for healing. I believe that true well-being encompasses more than just mental health; it's about fostering harmony between your mind, body, and spirit.

My hope for you is that through our work together, you'll not only find relief from your current struggles, but also cultivate a deeper sense of self-compassion, resilience, and joy. I want you to rediscover your strength, reclaim your voice, and create a life that is aligned with your authentic self. If this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out. I would be honored to walk alongside you on your healing journey.
