Andrew uses a warm, inquisitive, and affirming approach to therapy. He primarily works with clients navigating issues of identity, including around gender, sexuality, religion, and culture. He also works with anyone facing relationship challenges in their personal or professional lives. As someone who values each client’s individuality and autonomy, Andrew focuses on building each client’s unique strengths, perspectives, and goals, while also exploring the root causes of what brought them into therapy.
The beliefs people internalize from their families, friends, and society play a huge role in shaping how they see themselves. In therapy, Andrew works with clients to examine the beliefs, feelings, and reactions holding them back from being fully themselves. Through mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Andrew guides clients through a process to move past those beliefs and so they can live an aligned, authentic, and fulfilling life.
