Angelica Cruz is a passionate, empathetic and Certified Grief Informed Professional that works with teens, adults and couples! Since beginning her career, Angelica Cruz has specifically found a passion in supporting individuals who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief and loss, and trauma. In her work with couples, Angelica Cruz assists couples to improve their communication skills and conflict resolution skills, and to build or re-build their trust, connection, and intimacy with each other. And because of Angelica Cruz's own personal background, she also supports individuals wanting to explore their cultural identity and supports couples who want to explore their differing cultures or navigate the culture clashes that may arise throughout their relationship.

As a person-centered clinician, Angelica Cruz strives to create a safe, non-judgmental, empathetic space for clients to show up as they are. It is Angelica Cruz's belief that much of the change that occurs within her client's lives begins with the strength of the relationship between the clinician and client. As such, she spends much time ensuring that her clients feel safe. Angelica Cruz has also been described as a clinician who provides empathy and compassion for her clients while also being direct with clients when needed. Angelica Cruz also utilizes an integrative and strengths-based approach when giving her clients practical coping skills that they can begin utilizing in their everyday lives to thrive. These techniques and skills come from Angelica Cruz's different trainings in DBT, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
