Master of Science, MS - Mental Health CounselingAs of 2014, I have gained professional experience within the mental health and human services profession through entry-, mid-, and senior-level positions across agencies and organizations. Aside from private practice, I currently hold positions as: a mental health counselor (therapist), department director, and consultant.
Since beginning my clinical practice in 2019, I have developed an understanding for supporting the distress and presenting needs that individuals, families, and couples (of all ages) are faced with. This experience allows me to help people with the navigation of: uncertainty, unpleasantness, doubt, pain, loss, or hurt; while providing a safe, tailored, and confidential setting for your therapeutic journey.
In my work, the therapeutic journey focuses on helping people achieve: clarity, centeredness, acceptance, growth, happiness, peace, autonomy, and self-sufficiency - to improve your overall well-being in meaningful and sustainable ways. Thus, reaching personal growth and establishing authenticity within yourself.
My approach includes a combination of: Humanism, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Post-Modern therapies to provide a person-centered, cognitively-informed, and strength-based lens to the therapeutic process. My aim is to maintain the role of unconditional support, providing you with a gentle guide and collaborative partner as a means to help you pursue introspective insight and achieve healing.
