Anne's practice offers counseling services to adults in the greater Boston area, as well as throughout Massachusetts via virtual sessions. She often works with graduate students and young professionals as they consider goals for their life and cope with present-day stressors. She offers strengths-based, compassionate care with a person-centered, humanistic therapeutic approach.

Message to clients

I am a mental health counselor and art therapist. Using a person-centered approach, I create a safe space for you to process your experiences and explore their connection to your emotions, thoughts, and overall wellbeing. The therapeutic process gives the opportunity to work through past and present challenges and seek greater understanding, peace, and positive change. My role is to offer support, encouragement, and guidance as we collaborate to increase your capacity to cope, reinforce your resiliency, and build on your strengths.

In our sessions, I provide unbiased, non-judgmental listening as we process your experiences and emotions together. With compassion and gentleness, we will explore alternative perspectives, develop greater understanding and acceptance, and problem-solve together. We will seek to learn from the past, find encouragement and identify coping skills for the present, and develop hope and connection your future.

Moving forward to pursue counseling is a great step to take care of yourself and your needs. I look forward to walking alongside you as you seek greater understanding of yourself, expand upon your strengths and capabilities, and work to achieve your goals.
