Anneka Davis has been in the Social Work industry for over 20 years. She has a passion for working with individuals dealing with depression and anxiety. Anneka provides a holistic approach to ensure each client is treated in totality; Mind Body and Spirit. She has worked with women who have encountered Domestic Violence. She herself is a survivor. She has worked with clients who have a substance abuse history as well as with those who feel like they've lost control and need help with guidance to a clear path in life.
Anneka offers a soft tone and an understanding ear to all of her clients. She utilizes Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Narrative Therapy. She finds that these provide her clients with the space and grace to be themselves and help discover solutions to their problems. Using these therapeutic approaches, Anneka aims to relay to each client that they are in control of their own lives and that things can and will get better.
As the author of her own book; MY Complete 180, Three Simple Strategies to Shift your Mindset and Transform the Way You Live, Anneka introduces her methods to help show people that with the right mindset, much can change. Writing is something that brings Anneka solace and she encourages her clients to journal as well as other therapeutic approaches. The mind is a powerful tool. Anneka hopes to use her vast knowledge to help others live life to the fullest in the happiest and most healthiest way.
