Message to clients

You are very self reliant, you don’t really ask for help much. You are someone who helps others and takes care of everyone else’s needs. You are beginning to notice that you are exhausted from stretching yourself too thin and not being able to set boundaries. The feeling of self doubt and anxiety does not let you choose what you really want and you rely on external validation a lot. You rationalize other people’s behavior leading to having toxic relationships in your life. You are tired now and you want to feel free and take charge of your life.

A part of you might be ready to take the steps to be your authentic self and other parts might be worried about what will people think, will they accept you for who you are. I know, at this point with all the internal conflict taking charge of your life and being your true-self might feel impossible.

As a counselor this is exactly what I specialize in- Our work together is about helping you work through internal conflicts, feel empowered from within and access your sense of agency. Live your life aligned to who you are are appose to who you think you should be. Let’s talk and help you find relief. Set up a free phone consultation.

Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)

Trauma - Coping and healing after threatening or scary events, such as witnessing accidents or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse

Developmental Trauma - Trauma resulting from experiences of emotional neglect that occurred over a period of time during formative years of your life. Thoughts, feelings and behavior adapted during that time for survival transitions into adulthood and disrupts your relationships, work and other aspects of your life.

People Pleasing - People pleasing is a type of codependency. People pleasers prioritize other people's needs ahead of theirs. They are conflict avoidant, they over extend themselves and have a difficult time setting boundaries.

Individual therapy for relationship issues - Understanding one’s wants and needs in relationships; exploring patterns of interaction, addressing concerns, and strengthening satisfaction in relationships and dating
