Professional statement

Dr. Ariel Blum is a licensed clinical psychologist and the founder of Blum Psychology, PLLC, a psychology practice that provides telehealth support for children and parents throughout New York and Connecticut, as well as in-person support in Stamford, Connecticut. With a research background in parent-child attachment, Dr. Blum works with families to promote reflective parenting and a strong sense of security.

Message to clients

The connection you have with your therapist is the foundation of the therapeutic process. Before you schedule your initial session, we’ll get to know each other through a phone consultation to see how I can best meet your needs.

During our work together, you can expect me to be an active listener, offer psycho-education and insight, and help you identify your values to move towards your goals. Using an evidence-based and holistic approach, I will consult with (or refer to) psychiatrists, neuropsychologists, occupational therapists, or physical therapists. I would be honored to be a part of your support team.
