With extensive training in trauma recovery, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD, Ariel utilizes a variety of treatment techniques. She also frequently uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Her sessions are client-centered and focused on helping clients make behavioral changes. In addition, Ariel works with her clients to explore thought patterns and how these patterns affect them on a day-to-day basis.

Ariel works collaboratively with her clients to explore ways to achieve a happier and healthier life. She is currently an associate at a group practice, Dr. Devon MacDermott Therapy and a social worker supervisor at Bellevue Hospital. She received her MSW from New York University’s Silver School of Social Work. Her office is conveniently located near the orange, yellow, blue, and red lines, and the PATH train. She looks forward to meeting you.
