Professional statement

Ashirah’s approach to healing operates from a place of compassion, dignity, and respect. When she meets with her clients, she never forgets that we are all human, all unique, and all have traits that make a person unique – which directly impact finding the right path to healing. By using this approach, she creates a judgment-free zone and a place where anyone from any background can feel comfortable. Ashirah describes her technique as less than formal, but that is what makes many clients find her a comforting source for treatment. She believes that the process does take time, and never pushes her clients more than they are ready, and she continually supports her clients through every stage of their journey.

Message to clients

I understand that therapy is never the same for two clients. There is no linear approach to healing, even with two people suffering the exact same situation, trauma or condition.

We are humans, we are unique, and therefore, therapy must be tailored to your needs. I know that there will be highs and lows, and progress and regression during the process. It is my job to provide a comfortable space to help recover from whatever troubles you have at this season in your life.

My role is to provide every client with tools, so that they can navigate in their daily lives and take challenges head on with the confidence they once lacked.

I know that therapy is a process, but the rewards are definitely worth it. I’m here for you every step of the way, whether moving forward or taking a step backward to reassess. I want to be your confidant, your safe place to vent, and most importantly, your place to go when you need someone to help you through the healing process.
