Ashley provides psychotherapy to adolescents, adults, couples, and families with mixed diagnostic presentations, including mood disorders, personality disorders, trauma and stressor related disorders, psychotic disorders, and intellectual disabilities. Ashley believes every client has the potential to discover new strengths and aspects of the self by uncovering and working through ineffective relational patterns, maladaptive coping skills, and overwhelming feelings and emotions. Ashley uses an eclectic approach to treatment pulling from a wide range of modalities including, psychodynamic/relational theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She is committed to bringing each client’s personal narrative into the treatment plan, while utilizing experiential elements such as creativity and play to enliven the healing process.

Adjustment difficulties & disorders - Support around adapting to new and/or challenging life circumstances; skill-building for improved stress management and reduction of anxiety.
Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)
Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life
Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) - Healing painful experiences and memories from the past
Relationship issues - Understanding one’s wants and needs in relationships; exploring patterns of interaction, addressing concerns, and strengthening satisfaction in relationships and dating
Mood disorders - Clinical depression, persistent depression, bipolar disorder, and other mood disorders that cause disturbances in the client's mood, causing mood swings, restless sleep, and/or elevated mood
