Professional statement

Audrey DiFilippo is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of professional work experience. She has experience in helping clients with anxiety, agoraphobia, panic disorder, social anxiety, fears, OCD, Postpartum anxiety, depression and life stressors.

Her approach is compassionate, non-judgmental and incorporates individual needs and interests. She has experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention. Sessions entail clarifying values and what brings meaning to one’s life, and develop effective tools and intentions. Therapy can be a challenging space. Audrey finds great importance in the therapeutic relationship and aims to provide a safe and comfortable space for individuals to be authentic in sharing their story, and working through a variety of issues.

Audrey believes in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. She will tailor your dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

Audrey does online Teletherapy, with sessions held on a secure video platform, and she serves residents of South Carolina. The video format allows you to talk from the comfort of your home or office, and requires less travel time to get to appointments.

Message to clients

My name is Audrey DiFilippo, a therapist in South Carolina. I currently provide Teletherapy to residents across the state. With online therapy, you don't need to worry about driving to an office, you can cozy up on the couch or pick a quiet space at work. Some of my clients even take their phones on a walk or a drive.

I work with people who suffer from anxiety, chronic worry, phobias and fears, panic disorder, agoraphobia, social anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorders. Also women with postpartum depression or anxiety.

When we work together, I will teach you about your brain and how anxiety affects it. You will learn how to retrain your brain to deal with your anxiety. We will do activities together so you can practice at home. For homework, I will give you helpful videos to watch or books to read. Our goal is to work me out of a job and for you to become your own therapist!

I have extensive training in the treatment of anxiety and OCD, and it's always ongoing. I am a part of a group of leading experts in these disorders, so if we can't figure something out, I can go to them for advice.

You can schedule a free consultation or contact me to book your first session. I look forward to meeting you!
