Professional statement

Ms. Bayley Johnson is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in private practice on The Olympic Peninsula of Washington State. At her practice, she welcomes individuals from ages 18 to 108 who wish to live happy, healthy, and productive lives. Bayley understands that life has its share of struggles and believes each human being has the intuitive knowledge and ability to solve their own problems with a little help. Whether it be a relationship conflict or an internal conflict with the body or mind, Bayley works with each client to tackle the root of each issue - not just the symptoms on the surface. This way, clients can confidently leave each session knowing their strengths, power, and coping strategies.

Counseling sessions with Bayley often include moments of self-reflection, challenging ingrained beliefs, and identifying already established skills. All therapeutic interventions are practiced using a trauma-informed and holistic approach which allows clients to explore their inner world safely and practically.

As a therapist who previously served in higher levels of care, Bayley is particularly aware of the biological, mental, social, and cultural factors that often contribute to body/mind distress. She combines her academic training with real-world ‘practical advice’ to create a space where clients can be seen, heard, and most importantly, make tangible progress.

Ms. Bayley is committed to maintaining a diverse and thriving practice. She eagerly looks forward to making a meaningful and positive connection with each client who seeks to make peace with their body, mind, and others.
