Beth is an LMFT in the Greater Philadelphia area. For almost twenty years, she has provided a safe, positive, hope-filled space for individuals, couples, and families who deal with issues related to depression, anxiety, gender, sexuality, grief/loss, divorce, spirituality, relationships, aging, and personal growth and development.
Through thoughtful collaboration, Beth seeks to help people identify, explore, and experience the change and peace they desire. This commitment of collaboration and respect also grounds and infuses her work and experience with helping families, couples, and individuals relate and cope with the diagnosis of severe mental illness.
Beth received her Masters of Divinity from the Divinity School of Duke University, her Th.D. and LMFT training from the Candler School of Theology of Emory University and an advanced certificate in Clinical Supervision from the Smith College School of Social Work. Because of her background, Beth approaches her work from a holistic perspective; she assess and engages health and wellness in ways that attend to the mental, emotional, social, physical, and spiritual facets of experience. As a formally trained clinician, graduate level professor, and ordained minister, she brings a wealth of experience from a variety of academic, ministry and clinical settings.
When not working, Beth can be found hiking with her dog, Ellie, and her partner; planning her next big trip; or waiting for college football season.
