Bevonna Trail a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with individuals from all walks of life. She received her Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. Bevonna currently holds a Master’s degree in Social Work. She has experience working with individuals with serious and persistent mental illnesses. In the past, she has worked as a counselor for crisis prevention with the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline as well as a psychotherapist in an outpatient psychiatric clinic.
She has a compassionate approachable demeanor and believes in meeting clients where they are. Bevonna provides a safe, non-judgmental space for you to be yourself -for yourself. The counseling approaches she utilizes operates through a holistic lens incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution- Focused Therapy.
Bevonna specializes in helping individuals during their healing journey to restore balance and harmony within the self through deep inner reflection. She currently accepts clients ages 18 and older. Her specialty areas are depression, anxiety, anger management, self-esteem issues, communication skills, life stressors, and transitions. Bevonna looks forward to working with you so that you feel understood and connected while taking this next step on your healing journey.
Anger management - Addressing sudden outbursts of anger or sustained resentment; developing healthy anger expression and outlets
Adjustment difficulties & disorders - Support around adapting to new and/or challenging life circumstances; skill-building for improved stress management and reduction of anxiety.
Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life
Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)
Mood disorders - Clinical depression, persistent depression, bipolar disorder, and other mood disorders that cause disturbances in the client's mood, causing mood swings, restless sleep, and/or elevated mood
Life transitions - Coping with difficult or impactful life changes, such as moving to a new area, relationship transitions, child rearing, or career changes; learning self-care to better manage resulting stress

Since the scheduling of an appointment involves the reservation of time specifically, for you, a minimum of 24 hours (1 day) notice is required for re-scheduling or canceling an appointment. Unless we reach a different agreement, the fee of $100 will be charged for sessions missed without such notification. Most insurance companies do not reimburse for missed sessions.
