Bibi Rasul is a Licensed Master Social Worker located in New York. She specializes in working with people who are going through challenges at work, whether that’s with a manager, a colleague, or the stress of having performance pressure. She also works with those who face conflict within their families and would like to work through parental issues, or those who would like to improve their romantic relationships. Many of these clients seek tools to help with more healthy communication, as well as strategies for ADHD, anxiety, or depression.
Bibi’s approach to therapy begins with a client-centered nature while also focusing on finding a helpful solution for clients. Clients benefit from practicing mindfulness in session, with the aim of improving self-awareness and grounding when outside of the session. Bibi also provides emotional tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) that can be helpful when facing distress. Bibi values honesty, teamwork, and open communication in her sessions, and she creates an environment where clients don’t feel judged for what’s on their minds.
Bibi’s goal is to provide clients with a place of nurture where they can talk through what’s happening in their lives and find a pathway forward. She is an empathetic, caring person who enjoys seeing her clients take meaningful steps forward with their mental health.
