Bonnie is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor who has a Master of Arts degree in Community Counseling from Chadron State College. She is also a Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor. She has 6 years of experience working in addiction and mental health counseling.

Bonnie has worked with youth, women, and families in facilities and telehealth. Her focus initially was working with clients in need of substance abuse counseling, but recently, she has been working with adolescents and enjoys working with this population. She has experience working with adolescent clients who have experienced trauma, gender dysphoria, loss, and family separation.

Bonnie also has worked with populations who experience poverty and has dealt with related issues. She has ten years of experience working with clients who struggle with poverty. Bonnie uses strength-based and culturally sensitive supports while serving her clients. She often utilizes a solution-focused and family systems approach to help clients and families recognize their abilities as her clients learn to cope with trauma, grief, and stress.

In her free time, you can find Bonnie experimenting with complex recipes in the kitchen because she loves to cook. Bonnie also enjoys spending time with her family and pets.

Bonnie Beckstrom is a Mind of Peace Counseling LLC telehealth therapist. In order to ensure that we are supporting you as best as we possibly can, our clinical coordinator conducts all consultations and intakes. This is to make sure that we have an availability that suits your schedule (as availability changes frequently) and that we are able to work with your specific insurance/plan.

Mind of Peace has a variety of therapists that are not listed on Zencare. As part of your consultation, our clinical coordinator will discuss more information regarding your concerns to ensure that you are paired with the best provider for your needs.

In order to book a session, Mind of Peace requires complete paperwork as well as complete and accurate insurance information to be verified by our team.
