Brad Schutzer is a counselor in Quincy, MA with expertise in working with both children and adults on topics such as anxiety, depression, and stressors related to school and work. With nearly a decade of clinical experience working with clients of various backgrounds, Brad is dedicated to helping clients develop actionable strategies to overcome their challenges. He uses evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to empower clients to remove negative thinking and focus on important values and goals. He also incorporates play therapy in his work with children.

Brad sees children as young as 6 years old for topics such as emotional development, school avoidance, interpersonal issues, oppositional behaviors, and educational stress. Among adolescents and teenagers, he sees a lot of self-esteem issues and challenges during the transition into adulthood. Starting therapy can sometimes be an intimidating process and I very much understand and appreciate that. I strive to provide a comfortable and safe environment for my clients that allows for progress and growth. Goals in therapy are different for everybody and I focus on meeting my clients where they are and tailor my treatment to help my clients to the best of my ability.
