My name is Brandon Waters, I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor, Master Addiction Counselor, and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist. My clinical focus is on providing evidenced-based treatments for adult individuals. I specialize in the treatment of Sex Addiction and Trauma. My experience focuses on working with individuals with various types of presenting concerns. I have also worked with many individuals with a wide array of past traumatic experiences.
I approach each individual utilizing a strengths-based approach, offering treatment options that meet the needs and preferences of each client.
Each individual has great potential for positive change and the ability to redefine their life’s journey despite past experiences. I approach therapy with the belief that change in life is inevitable. However, we choose our mindset surrounding life’s changes and how we view our role in relation to its unpredictable nature. A change in perspective can often be a momentous awakening when we are unable to change things outside of ourselves. This is the point where acceptance is created and peace of mind is sustained.
I have worked in various settings with a wide array of client populations. I am trained in
30 Task Model
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
DNMS (Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy)
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)
CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy)
PE (Prolonged Exposure therapy)
My clinical focus is on helping alleviate suffering for individuals with Sexual Addiction and Trauma. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Master Addiction Counselor, and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist. I have worked with clients in crisis situations, inpatient settings, and outpatient settings. Appointments are available several days a week.
