Professional statement

Hi, I am a Licensed Social Worker who is also a dedicated and compassionate therapist. I have had the opportunity to work in my field for more than a decade servicing individuals with a diverse background in various populations. My career has given me the opportunity to support and work closely with those struggling with mental disorders, behavioral disorders, relationship problems, family, anxiety disorders, PTSD, depression, eating disorders, self-esteem, stress, trauma, and even grief. I aim to give the individuals I work with a whole-person approach as well as a strength-based approach. I commonly use Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Solution –Focused Brief therapy (SFBT), Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), Family, Couples, Person-centered, and compassion-focused therapies. We do not get a handbook on this thing called life, and the challenges that come with it. I am committed to helping individuals navigate through those challenges to support their personal growth and gain a sense of empowerment while embarking towards their healing journey and accomplishing goals.

While creating a therapeutic and safe environment I strive to ensure that my clients are heard, and supported. In our therapy sessions we will discuss and process issues that may impede you from your daily function. Healing, and doing the work is Key!
