I have over seven years of experience in the mental health field. I have worked in a wide range of settings, such as home-based services, day programs, secondary schools, and private practice. I specialize in working with children and adolescents, and I also work with adults of all ages. My philosophy of practice is client centered, strengths-based and solution-focused therapy. I believe that our most powerful tools are found within ourselves and the supports that surround us. I aim to work collaboratively with clients to identify system strengths and connect with resources in the community to provide the overall best care.
I graduated from Salve Regina University with my Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology and minor in Special Education, then earned my Master’s degree in Social Work at Rhode Island College.
In my undergraduate work as a behavioral technician, I provided Applied Behavioral Analysis services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder at Momentum Professional Behavioral Health Services Inc. in RI. After my undergraduate program, I worked as a direct support professional and provided services to adults with intellectual disabilities at Looking Upwards Inc. in RI. During my graduate work, I worked with a social work team at The Met High School in RI and worked at Mindful Healing Counseling Services, providing individual and group therapy.
