Message to clients

As humans, we have all sorts of inner experiences that can't be seen by others- thoughts, emotions, memories, urges, desires. Sometimes these inner experiences help us, like when anxiety tells us to look both ways before crossing the street. Sometimes these experiences can unintentionally get in our way and we can find ourselves stuck in repetitive patterns of intrusive thoughts, memories of painful experiences, worry, and self-criticism. We may notice ourselves feeling anxious, irritated, or ashamed much of the time, and we can start to disconnect from the things that matter to us most.

I view therapy as a space where we can openly and non-judgmentally explore those inner experiences, learn new ways of responding to them, and make actionable changes so you can connect more with the things that really matter to you. Throughout this process, I am here to create a safe space where you feel supported, validated, and empowered.

It is hard to ask for help, to share your story with someone else, and to make the changes you want to see. I would consider it a privilege to be a part of your journey. If you're interested in working with me, I would love to talk more about how I can help you during a consultation call.
