Anxiety can show up in our lives without so much as a knock on the door. It has a way of meeting us right in the prime of our lives when there are many other things to focus on. Instead, we find ourselves battling panic attacks, a spiral of negative and fearful thoughts, and a vicious attack on our self-esteem. Anxiety can take a toll on your zeal for life, but it doesn't have to get the final say. The good news is that while feelings may disagree, anxiety can indeed be conquered.
Specializing in anxiety, Brittney pulls from a variety of therapeutic techniques to help you experience freedom from fear and worry. These techniques include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Solution Focused Therapy. Sessions with Brittney will begin with a comprehensive initial evaluation, during which you will establish some therapy goals. Following this initial session, you will be introduced to positive coping skills and work to uncover the roots of the anxiety, stress, and worry you are experiencing.
Brittney has been working as a full-time therapist for over a decade and is on a mission to help you take control of what's been controlling you. Having spent the early part of her career in Higher Education, Brittney has worked with clients from around the globe and seen anxiety in many different forms. Therapy is designed to provide a virtual, safe space for you to release the pain and experience freedom. It would be her honor to walk with you through this journey.
