Anxiety can show up in our lives without so much as a knock on the door. It has a way of meeting us right in the prime of our life, when #goals seem like they should be at the fore front. Instead, we can find ourselves battling panic attacks, a spiral of negative and fearful thoughts, and the vicious attack of low self-esteem. Anxiety can take a toll on your zeal for life but it doesn't have to get the final say. The good news is that while feelings may disagree anxiety can indeed be conquered.
Specializing in anxiety, Brittney, pulls from a variety of therapeutic techniques to help you experience freedom from fear and worry. Those techniques include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Solution Focused Therapy. Sessions with Brittney will begin with a comprehensive initial evaluation during which you will establish some goals for therapy. Following this initial session, you will be introduced to positive coping skills and work to uncover the roots of the anxiety, stress, and worry you are experiencing.
Brittney, has been working as a full time therapist for a decade and is on a mission to help you take control of what's been controlling you. Having spent the early part of her career in Higher Education, Brittney has worked with clients from around the globe and seen anxiety in many different forms. Therapeutic spaces with Brittney are created on the premise of providing a safe virtual space for you to release the pain and experience freedom. It would be her honor to walk with you through this journey.
Please note that all sessions are provided virtually on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and some Saturday's.
