Message to clients

While I honor that each of my clients brings unique qualities and strengths, the people I work with tend to be high achievers, perfectionists, and — on paper — seem to have everything figured out. My passion is giving my clients a safe and nurturing space to be flawed, get emotionally messy, and prioritize their mental health so that they can enjoy the life they’ve worked so hard to build. I believe therapy works best when it feels purposeful, which means everything I bring to our sessions — the questions I ask, my tone of voice, the homework I assign — is meant to bring you one step closer to your short- and long-term goals.

I use my warmth, authenticity, and sense of humor to challenge your long-standing beliefs about yourself and the world in order to help you grow. I’m an active participant in our work together, pushing against the stereotype that a therapist listens and nods, only. I cheer, challenge, redirect, and interrupt (albeit gently) so you know that I’m with you in the process and guiding you along the way.
