Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHC Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor, CASACCaitlin is a former athlete turned Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in New York. She works primarily with millennials and college students who are seeking support for anxiety, racing thoughts, feeling overwhelmed or stuck, ADHD, and prior traumatic life experiences. The day-to-day grind can leave us feeling stuck, anxious, and alone. Caitlin helps clients understand their experiences, disentangle their thoughts, learn to cope with their stressors, resolve any past traumatic experiences and increase their self-esteem and self-love along the way. Her sports background has led to her having a methodical, goal-oriented, results-driven therapy style.
Together, your work with Caitlin will help you navigate through difficult emotions and feelings while learning to recognize and change negative thought patterns. You will gain the ability to feel comfortable and confident with yourself, increase your ability to cope with your stressors, communicate with others, and improve your relationships with others. Caitlin's work combines interventions from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and solution-focused therapy. She pulls from different theories based on her client's needs, preferences, and goals.
Caitlin takes a warm and collaborative approach to therapy. She understands the importance of creating a safe, judgment-free space to navigate the challenges in your life. Caitlin has an online therapy practice. She offers virtual video sessions to help make therapy more accessible. Caitlin also offers her clients the first session for $80, so they can get to know her before committing to her full fee.
