Caitlin draws on several therapeutic approaches, including Mindful Self-Compassion, Strength-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Caitlin specializes in working with clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, emotion dysregulation, low self-esteem or self-acceptance, and self-doubt or difficulty making decisions. Many of Caitlin’s clients are experiencing life transitions, stress at work and/or in relationships, and strong self-judgments.
Mindfulness, dialectics and exploration of values are key aspects of Caitlin’s work.
Caitlin has a Master’s in Clinical Social Work from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor’s in English from Columbia University.

Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life
Life transitions - Coping with difficult or impactful life changes, such as moving to a new area, relationship transitions, child rearing, or career changes; learning self-care to better manage resulting stress
Stress management - Strengthening effective ways of coping with the stress of life and change; managing expectations of self and others
Emotion regulation - Learning how to effectively manage the ups and downs of intense emotions; developing coping skills to use in a variety of settings to calm oneself and to give an appropriate amount of space to emotions
