Motherhood and parenting is a journey not meant to be done alone. You, your partner, children, and this world are constantly changing. Preparing yourself mentally for all the transitions will give you the tools you need to survive it all. Giving yourself some self care is important because if you're not well it can hinder you from accomplishing your dreams and goals.
