Professional statement

I have been working in the field for 6 years as a professional therapist, but have an additional 4 years of experience as an intern and support staff. I love this field as a means of helping others learn about themselves, and work through their concerns/issues, and with how it all interacts with your everyday life. I work to be myself in and out of sessions, and enjoy being open and transparent about myself and my past as a means of helping clients open up about themselves and their life, and build a closer relationship. I offer telehealth sessions, and enjoy being open and genuine with others and help you make the best out of yourself and your life.

I have experience working with individuals to help them with depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, relationships, and interpersonal issues across their life. I mainly work with individuals, one-on-one, but have worked with couples and families, and troubled populations like youth on probation. I have the most experience with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction and interpersonal relationships, I also have experience with ADHD, paranoia, bi-polar, and schizophrenia. I use modality's such as CBT, person-centered, solution-focused, and motivational interviewing to help individuals identify/challenge negative behaviors and patterns in their life.

Message to clients

My approach to therapy is just being myself, a welcoming, humorous, and empathetic person who loves to help others as whole. I do this to help build a great, deep, and real relationship with my clients, and establish trust and help us work together to challenge/break down the struggles they are facing, and build themselves back up to who they want to be now. My goal is to help individuals find a balance in their life where they are able to reduce their mental health stress/impact, and their overall life stress, by establishing and implementing healthy balance, coping skills, and boundaries in their life to improve not only their life, but their sense of self.
