Carly Staton is a trauma-informed Licensed Professional Counselor in Philadelphia, PA specializing in people who are experiencing a wide variety of issues including depression, anxiety, depression, adult ADHD, isolation, relationship issues, women’s issues, OCD, life transitions, career challenges, trauma, adolescent issues. Many of her clients find themselves feeling more and more hopeless, overwhelmed with stress in the face of change. She works with these clients to develop an awareness and understanding of this fear reaction, empowering them to grow towards wellness.

In session with Carly, clients learn more about their thoughts and behaviors as well as how their thoughts and behaviors play impact their emotions. Using a mindfulness approach, she uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to teach clients about harmful thought patterns and how to build better coping and communication skills to avoid them. She is a strengths-based therapist, which means that she believes wholeheartedly that each client has everything they need within and around them to heal. Together, Carly and her clients leverage these strengths to empower her clients to overcome life's obstacles and challenges in order to live a more fulfilling, enriched life.

Self-esteem - Cultivating self-compassion, assertiveness, and confidence; developing ways to reduce suffering, anxiety, social withdrawal, and self-neglect

Social anxiety - Helping clients increase confidence and ability to interact with others amidst fear of being judged, worry about embarrassment, or concern about offending others
