Professional statement

I am a dedicated Clinical Social Worker and Therapist with over a decade of experience helping clients navigate their unique journeys toward healing and self-empowerment. Licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, I offer online therapy to ensure accessibility, providing one-on-one sessions tailored to individual needs and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills group sessions. My practice focuses on trauma recovery, mood disorders, and LGBTQIA+ affirming care, creating a space where clients feel seen, understood, and supported.

My professional journey has been shaped by my dedication to working with individuals from marginalized communities. In my therapeutic work, I employ a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EDMR), Trauma-Focused Therapy, and Prolonged Exposure Therapy. I am certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional and integrate my expertise with ongoing learning. Currently, I am pursuing a certificate in neuroscience through the University of Pennsylvania’s Liberal & Professional Studies online program, with expected completion in Spring 2026. This advanced training reflects my commitment to staying at the forefront of therapeutic care.

As a clinician with her own lived experience of managing mental health challenges and complex trauma, I bring a unique perspective to my practice. I understand the courage it takes to seek support and the perseverance required to make progress. My therapeutic philosophy emphasizes that healing is not a linear process but one measured in small, meaningful steps. With warmth and authenticity, I partner with my clients to celebrate every inch of forward movement.

Message to clients

I've found that trauma does not have to define my life, it can simply be a part of my story. My purpose is to help others reach the same place in their healing journey.
