Dr. Cat is a psychotherapist with nearly 20 years of experience working with diverse populations. She has a wide range of clinical mental health experience, including Outpatient Therapy, Intensive Outpatient Group Therapy, Assertive Community Treatment, and Residential and Hospital settings. Dr. Cat is a Clinical Certified Trauma Professional Level II (CCTP-II) for complex trauma and holds a Certificate in Disaster Mental Health and Trauma Studies and an Advanced Certificate in Forensic Social Work.
Appointments are conveniently offered during the week through teletherapy to meet people where they are located.
Trauma - Coping and healing after threatening or scary events, such as witnessing accidents or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse
Substance abuse - Reducing and preventing the negative impact of drug and alcohol use and addictions on physical, emotional, and relational health
Mood disorders - Clinical depression, persistent depression, bipolar disorder, and other mood disorders that cause disturbances in the client's mood, causing mood swings, restless sleep, and/or elevated mood
Women's issues - Therapy tailored to common concerns among women; providing a safe and understanding space to address life challenges, stressors, and questions around identity as a woman
Complex PTSD (C-PTSD) - Recovering from the impact of long-term, repeated traumatic events, such as emotional abuse and neglect
Life transitions - Coping with difficult or impactful life changes, such as moving to a new area, relationship transitions, child rearing, or career changes; learning self-care to better manage resulting stress
