Cathy Betti is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing only virtually in both Illinois and Michigan. She works with older adult individuals and couples. Her current caseload is a largely a mixture of executives, stay-at-home-moms, newlywed couples, and seasoned couples. Cathy is a systemic therapist trained in Integrative Systemic Therapy. She is not married to one model, but rather pulls from a wide array of models and taylors them to fit each individual client's needs at any given time. She thinks of the system as a whole and how different parts of life impact the individual.
Cathy received her Bachelor of Arts with dual degrees in Management and in Psychology from Hope College in Holland, Michigan. She received her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University. Cathy trained at the Bette. D. Harris Clinic at the Family Institute, and was part of the Community Program, working with an underprivileged population in Evanston, Illinois. Cathy is in process obtaining her AAMFT Clinical Supervisor accreditation and is currently supervising multiple students in the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Northwestern University. Cathy is also the Executive Director at Mindful Solutions, LLC.
