At Kaleida, she worked as a crisis intervention specialist providing home visits for children ages 5-17 and their families, to avoid psychiatric hospitalization or out-of-home placement. She also served in their school health program, providing counseling to inner city youth right in their schools.

Ceaton joined the private practice sector in 2006-present.
