Celeste's clients have been able to address a variety of life challenges and build deeper insight into their mental health and overall wellbeing. Many of Celeste's clients express a desire to bring more balance into their lives, identifying that they find success in one area of their life but continue to struggle in others. Celeste works to help her clients better understand how to break out of cycles and overcome obstacles, emotionally and otherwise.
Celeste practices in a client-centered manner, collaborating with her clients throughout their time in therapy. Her style is open and nonjudgemental, using both insight-oriented and skills-based approaches. Celeste integrates several clinical models in her practice, having been trained in art therapy and verbal therapy techniques, trauma-informed care, and several evidenced-based practices including CBT and motivational interviewing.
Celeste has received her MPS in art therapy from the School of Visual Arts in 2016. Since then, Celeste has been working in an outpatient substance misuse program for adolescents and adults of all ages, and in private practice. Through her clinical experience Celeste has specific skills to address substance misuse, but she has also engaged with individuals facing varied issues such as depression, anxiety/panic, relationship challenges, trauma, LGBTQIA+ concerns, life transitions, and more.
Celeste is currently based in Queens, right on the border of northern Brooklyn, but is holding exclusively Telehealth sessions at this time. Celeste hopes to have in-person appointments in the near future.
