Celina Pipman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Hurley, NY. She has been practicing psychotherapy for 30 years and has gained a deep understanding of treating anxiety and depression.
Celina is profoundly aware of the challenging times society is facing. The last two and a half years have been difficult for most people. Several factors have led to increased vulnerability—a pandemic, politics, financial strains, loss, trauma, and excessive exposure to social media have demanded constant adaptation to the point of exhaustion.
Celina has fine-tuned her eclectic practice to address the unique stresses of the times in which we live. Being a registered yoga teacher, she first combines mindfulness and yoga to help clients release stress and calm their nervous systems. She then utilizes her extensive training in Emotional Focus Therapy to assist clients in understanding their unique emotional triggers, as well as their reactions to these triggers. With Celina's help, these emotions are unveiled in a safe environment, after which clients learn to form new and empowering narratives.
As an immigrant, Celina is genuinely attuned to different cultures and belief systems. She strives for an open heart and non-judgemental view in her practice. She offers her services in English and Spanish.
