Dr. Chantelle Pseekos is a currently Licensed Psychologist in Rhode Island (RI) and Ohio. Dr. Chantelle has a Secure Video Counseling practice in RI and is the Founder of Counseling in Seagulls' Cove, LLC, including PAVICTS: Telehealth Services for Individuals, Businesses, Non-Profit Organizations, Higher Education Faculty & Staff, Young Professionals, Students, & Recent College Graduates. Dr. Chantelle has written/published several books and articles focused on consciousness-raising related to harmful stereotypes, promoting understanding of the importance of person-environment fit on workplace satisfaction/fulfillment, working with clients' metaphors, and enhancing our understanding of anger in impacting overall life and wellness outcomes. Remaining a long-term member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and Divisions 17 & 44 of the APA reflects Dr. Chantelle's life-long commitment to social justice service in Counseling Psychology and service that includes support for clients who express gender and/or sexual diversity, as members of the LGBTQ+ community.
The current office location for Counseling in Seagulls' Cove, LLC is 112 Capron Farm Drive, Warwick, RI 02886. Dr. Chantelle can be reached via phone consultation or contact form. Client appointments are scheduled flexibly Monday-Sunday, typically in the afternoon or evening. Frequency of sessions can range from twice weekly to several times a year. Most frequently clients begin with weekly or bi-weekly sessions.
In-network insurance companies for this Secure Video Telehealth practice are: Blue Cross Blue Shield Rhode Island, Tufts, ComPsych Employee Assistance, Medicare, and Multiplan. There is a $60 discount for all referred clients, who have an out-of-network insurance plan. These clients can be provided with an invoice via a secure email from Dr. Chantelle Pseekos that they can send directly to their insurance provider upon request. The standard rate for private pay clients for Secure Video Counseling is $160, while all referred clients with out-of-network insurance plans receive the discounted rate of $100 per session. There is no fee for cancellations/missed appointments. Payments/co-payments, when not covered or waived by insurance companies, are collected via Square Reader at the close of each secure virtual counseling session.
Concerning the treatment approach taken when working with clients, Dr. Chantelle Pseekos applies an integrative approach. Long-term counseling is available, as well as short-term and employee assistance support. In developing a personalized treatment plan in collaboration with each client, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Mindfulness-Based, Attachment/Relational, Interpersonal Processing, Multicultural/LGBTQ+ Affirming, Emotion Focused, Cognitive, Behavioral, Gottman Method, Motivational Interviewing, and other helpful counseling strategies/approaches may be incorporated into the treatment plan that consists of Secure Video Counseling Telehealth sessions. Referrals for new clients to the practice, who are interested in receiving individual or couples counseling support through Video Telepsychology are welcomed!
