Dr. Chet Lesniak is a Licensed Psychologist provides telehealth in 38 states as a member PSYPACT, an interstate consortium of providers. Dr. Lesniak is an experienced provider who has worked with many different mental health conditions, life situations, and barriers to happiness. Many of his clients struggle with overwhelming amounts of stress. They face anxiety, sadness, and fear as they go through their daily lives, which leads to the feeling of never being able to relax and enjoy life.

Dr. Lesniak tailors therapy sessions to the individualized needs of the client. He understands that therapy — and healing — does not look the same for everyone, which is why he draws from many different therapy approaches with his clients. Clients set goals for their mental health, working towards those goals with his support. He practices contemplative psychotherapy, along with psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, ACT, and more for an integrated approach to well-being.

Dr. Lesniak earned a PhD in Psychology from New York University. He previously worked at New York Medical Center, Bellevue Hospital, and Cape Cod Psych Center. He has practiced in clinics, schools, and hospitals. His style is down-to-earth and practical. His encouragement has helped numerous individuals reach their mental health goals and find happiness.

I work with people with many kinds of problems such as stress, anxiety, sadness, grief, or conflicts. I help people with life transitions such as changes in health, work, career, or relationships. I will be your guide and your advocate as we explore how you can become your best self.

I start with the assumption that we all just want to be happy. My goal is to help you to live your fullest life. My practice is based on an approach to psychotherapy that identifies which type of therapy works best for you. I also include Buddhist psychology - if you are interesed..
