Dr. Komatsu is a Licensed Psychologist in the states of California and Michigan a Board Certified Behavior Analyst at the doctoral level (1-08-4103). She received a Ph.D. in School Psychology program from Louisiana State University and a B.A. in Psychology from University of Texas at Austin.

As a licensed psychologist, Dr. Komatsu specializes in providing compassionate, evidence-based individual and family counseling for children, adolescents and adults facing anxiety, depression, OCD, ASD, ADHD and other developmental disabilities. Dr. Komatsu's approach is centered on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions, develop effective coping strategies, and work toward lasting personal growth. Using techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness and other therapeutic modalities, Dr. Komatsu aims to help individuals navigate the complexities of their mental health, fostering resilience and emotional well-being.

In addition to her work with individuals, Dr. Komatsu offers specialized parent consultation services for those who may be struggling with their children or seeking to improve their parent-child relationships.
