Creating an open and trusting space is essential for one to feel vulnerable to discuss sensitive issues that hinder their healing. Chris-Marie understands how difficult it can be to be vulnerable in a new space and prides herself on building healthy communication and dialogue. Internal Family Systems, an evidence-based practice, main goal is to embody the Self and heal our injured parts so that we can live with confidence, guided by curiosity and compassion. This is why Chris-Marie is passionate about listening to the parts of the Self that may seem scary, damaging, or hard to ignore. When these parts of the Self are identified a positive relationship forms, which begins the healing process. Chris-Marie understands that one’s journey may include difficult chapters and celebrates the strength that comes from them.
Utilizing evidence-based research theories you will connectedly find your healing and restoration. Chris-Marie has experience working with adolescents and adults and considers it a privilege to be a part of your journey.
