EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
Dr. Chris Rebholz is a Licensed Psychologist in Kirkland, WA who also has an engineering degree and 10+ years of experience (mostly in management) in the tech industry. She has particular expertise in helping women in tech and adults with high-functioning autism learn to navigate the interpersonal issues that occur at the office. She also performs psychological evaluations.
Dr. Rebholz primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients change their thought patterns and develop healthier coping skills. She finds that CBT is particularly effective in treating individuals with high-functioning autism as well as those navigating imposter syndrome. She also spends time doing Psychodynamic Therapy with her clients to explore their childhood and how past experiences have shaped who they are today and how they view the world around them. Dr. Rebholz will utilize Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness practices when appropriate.
Dr. Rebholz is an expert in her field and is passionate about the work she does. She received her PsyD from Antioch University. Her office is conveniently located within two blocks of Google. She looks forward to meeting you.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) -
A trauma treatment that helps process distressing memories and restore the brain's natural healing abilities. In addition to other therapeutic techniques, the therapist leads the client in a series of lateral eye movements while focusing on a difficult memory, reducing any overwhelming feelings connected to past experiences, and allowing for emotional healing
