Dr. Lozano is a licensed clinical psychologist who works with adults in the East Bay Area, California. He also provides Telehealth services for patients who reside in the states of California and New York.
Dr. Lozano has received extensive training across multiple settings including major city hospitals, outpatient community clinics and private practice. He specializes in working with clients who experiences anxiety, trauma and stressor-related disorders including PTSD. In his practice, he also addresses depression, relationship conflicts, life transitions as well as grief and loss.
Dr. Lozano's theoretical orientation is primarily psychodynamic but has also been trained in CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based techniques. Dr. Lozano is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDRIA certified).
As a psychologist, Dr. Lozano uses an integrative model and a strong client-centered approach, he tailors each person’s treatment to their individual needs and goals. In his practice, Dr. Lozano also aims to help clients foster a deeper understanding and awareness of past and current relational patterns as well as gaining new perspectives on their life stressors.
