Christina Viera received her MS from Mercy College in Mental Health Counseling and interned for 1 year at GMHC where she worked with LGBTQPIA+ individuals living with HIV. While practicing at GMHC, Christina Viera co-facilitated group therapy sessions that addressed specific challenges for individuals living with HIV. She also has familiarity with individual clients who struggled with self-esteem, anxiety, depression and more. Furthermore, Christina Viera has knowledge in working with clients challenged with homelessness, suicidality, at risk youth, and individuals in crisis.
