Christina works with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma. One of her specialties is working with LGBTQ+ populations. As a transgender woman, Christina understands and empathizes with her clients’ lived experiences. Some common things she works on with clients include gender and identity, dating challenges, kink, polyamory, social justice issues, and self acceptance.
During therapy with Christina, clients explore and get curious about how past events relate to their present day thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Christina then uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to reframe their thoughts and behaviors as well as EMDR to help process trauma when needed.
Christina’s vision is to create a world where mental health challenges are no longer taboo, but rather symbolic of strength and self care. By empowering individuals and supporting them on their journey toward wellness, Christina is working to make that vision a reality.
