Professional statement

Cindy Pearson Garcia is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado. Additionally, she is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Texas and is supervised by Dr. Sunny Lansdale, LPCS with Treaty Oak Psychotherapy. She provides tele-visits/online counseling to clients in both states.

Cindy utilizes a combination of therapeutic approaches to assist clients with their concerns. She specifically works with clients to identify their strengths and takes a positive, pro-active approach to supporting clients as they work through challenges and aspects of their life they want to change. Mindful awareness is a technique incorporated to help clients become more attuned to present moment thinking, develop attention of the mind's activity, investigate where it might be wandering and develop stronger abilities to focus. Her work can assist with developing clarity, conscious focus, and restfulness of the mind. Gratitude is another practice she finds works wonders to bring in joy and shift out of negative thinking.

Therapy can assist with decreasing anxiety, working through depression, promote better sleep, increase productivity, improve relationships, and create an overall sense of wellbeing.

New clients are being accepted at this time for tele-visits/remote sessions. Please email to set up a free 15 minute consultation to discuss services/get to know one another, or to proceed with scheduling a session. Sessions are typically 50 minutes for individuals and/or couples, though 75 minute sessions are also available, for an additional fee, should you desire more time.

Message to clients

The therapeutic experience I strive to provide to all my clients includes warmth, openness, compassion, and confidentiality. The counseling session is your time to explore and discuss anything relevant to you which may include working through past challenges still lingering in your consciousness; stress that has compounded to anxiety, depression, and/or panic; relationship issues blocking joy; fears creating inability to be productive or make choices in your life, to name a few. Counseling might also be a time to explore and develop greater wellness strategies with focus on diet, exercise, sleep, etc. My commitment is to support you with positive, kind, and honest regard. I encourage gratitude and self-compassion as means to overcome obstacles you may be facing on the inside and/or outside. I utilize reflection, intuition, education/training, and desire to assist you as you work through what you want to transform.
