Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, LPC-A National Certified Counselor, NCC Master of Education, MEdMany yearn to effectively cope with life's situations, find themselves, or just plain feel better. These skills are learned, not innate. Whether you've tried therapy before or not, you're ready for change; something isn't working. Recognizing your struggles, and having the incredible courage it takes to reach out, is a sign you believe things could be different. You were put on this earth to feel serenity, not misery. You don’t have to walk alone. It is time to get to the root of your struggles, problem-solve, and take action. Your self-awareness and desire for change will be great assets, because with awareness comes transformation.
I specialize in treating anxiety, ADHD, relationship problems, and parenting issues. Online therapy provides people located anywhere in SC access to treatment, allows more affordable pricing, requires no driving time or having to find child-/eldercare to attend sessions, and tends to make clients feel more comfortable and less of any mental health stigmas.
I am committed to helping clients discover psychological roots of their struggles, understand the influence of the past on present behaviors, and change ineffective thoughts, coping mechanisms, or behaviors. My clients can expect to use self-examination and self-reflection, while collaborating with me to alleviate their most bothersome symptoms and lead healthier, fulfilling lives. I believe in assisting clients to come to their own conclusions and solutions, because they are the experts on their own lives and the ones who will ultimately take back control of their life and reach their goals. My therapeutic approach in sessions involves problem-solving, providing resources, being non-judgmental, and seeking to understand you.
