Clay is a schoolteacher at Bayshore Christian School where he teaches History and Theology to high school students. This practice is his passion project. Clay’s main work over the past two years has been at Light of The Village in Prichard, AL. Clay has worked with clients who have experienced a wide range of trauma. Through using a mixture of CBT and talk therapy Clay helps his clients confront their trauma and seek wholeness. With that knowledge in mind Cultivate Counseling seeks to help clients grow healthier together.

Message to clients

Thank you so much for checking out my profile. I am honored that you are considering myself as your therapist during this time. I want you to know that my main work has been centered around helping people with big T trauma navigate life after their experience. I also have a fair amount of experience with grief and loss. I began training as a therapist during the pandemic. This allowed me to have a very focused approach to my work.

During the worst time of most people’s lives I was on the frontline helping and serving in underserved areas. I hope that this encourages you to reach out. I am excited to meet with you and want to hear your story. I want to know how we can get you to a place of healing together.
