Clayton Belgrave is the founder and principal psychotherapist of Green Oasis Psychotherapy & Wellness, a private practice dedicated to serving individuals, families and couples seeking mental health and general wellness counseling. From a philosophy that wholeness is key to wellness, the practice focuses on a holistic approach to therapy, which emphasizes each part of the individual. Clayton has spent the last several years working in substance abuse treatment centers, community mental health agencies and other outpatient settings, getting a broad range of experience treating various diagnoses. He is a practitioner of mindfulness and incorporates a mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral approach in treatment.
Clayton received his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health from Southern Adventist University in Tennessee, where he completed his internship working with eating disorders and addictions in a residential and intensive outpatient setting. Clayton brings an expertise working with couples, families, process groups, churches, and individuals with various anxiety disorders. He is a member of the American Counseling Association, holds a certification in Prepare/Enrich for couples counseling, and maintains a professional license in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Texas.
