Professional statement

Courtney is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. In 2022 she moved to Kentucky, but maintains her practice in California through telehealth. She treats those who are working through eating disorders, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, work stress and life transitions.

Courtney worked at an eating disorder clinic from 2011 through 2019 and helped those struggling at the outpatient, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization levels of care. She has spoken as an expert about eating disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns on the radio, at college campuses, among professionals in the community, and at other treatment centers. Her professional training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and phase 1 of Brainspotting for trauma. She has seen and treated individuals, families, couples and children. Courtney worked for a large health care company from 2019 through 2022 doing mental health intakes, diagnosing mental health disorders, and supporting people in getting the care they needed. She went back to a private practice setting in 2023 to continue to pursue her passion by providing therapy to those looking for support.

Message to clients

If you're seeking therapy it is because you are in a part of your life that is giving you some trouble. Life has its ups and downs, but there are times for each of us when we need to reach out and get increased support. If you're feeling ready to look at things from a different perspective and create some meaningful change, I'm here and ready to help. Therapy is very personal and it's important you feel connected, heard, and not judged as you work through the hard stuff. My job is not just to create safe space for you to do that work, but also guidance along the way. I'm ready when you are, and will be here for you the whole way!
