Professional statement

Cyndi Roberts-Morey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with the State of Florida and a Master’s Level Florida Certified Addictions Professional (MCAP). Throughout her career, Cyndi has gained a broad range of experiences and has provided therapeutic solutions to many populations, including adolescents, individuals, couples and families. She has proficiency in dealing with a variety of life challenges, including trauma, addictions, mood disorders and difficult seasons of change. She is committed to joining others in their journey to create positive changes. Her goal is to give everyone she works with the skills and knowledge to manage thoughts and emotions while improving their own functioning.

Cyndi uses her training in a number of evidenced-based therapies to give her clients their best chance at developing long lasting changes. Some of these therapies are: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

As a Christian therapist, Cyndi integrates God’s love and guiding principles as part of the healing and restoration process of her clients. Her desire is to see adolescents, individuals, couples and families break the cycle of continual pain and inner turmoil as they seek to gain insight into adapting coping skills that will bring about emotional wellness and healing.

Sessions are offered both remotely and in-person.

Message to clients

Life can be so painful! And it's hard to reach out for help! But we all need help, support, and guidance along the way. I am honored to join with you to help you feel better and grow to the point you are able to choose your actions rather than simply reacting. If you have developed negative thoughts, behaviors, patterns or destructive cycles that you want to break, there is help!

I have over 20 years of experience partnering with people who are ready to change. That desire is such a good place to start! I look forward to beginning our work together!
