Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, LCPCCynthia Holden is a licensed clinical professional counselor in Maryland who specializes in helping women with anxiety and depression disorders.
Cynthia loves creating a safe, non-judgmental environment that enables you to get to the core of your struggles. Together you can find clarity, identify what's not working, and explore evidence-based techniques to help you break cycles. You will integrate holistic mindfulness practices to address the needs of your mind, body, and spirit.
Cynthia understands that pursuing therapy can feel uncertain, but you're making the right choice by investing in your healing and growth.
Your first session will be different from future visits. Your initial session is a time to get to know each other and get an idea of how to proceed. Future visits will be more therapeutic, and you will leave each session feeling heard, respected, and challenged.
Cynthia bases her therapeutic orientation on Cognitive-behavioral therapy, which focuses on connecting thoughts, behavior, and feelings, and client-centered therapy.
Clients Cynthia works to help clients feel safe during sessions and experience sincere empathy for their circumstances. These are two of her greatest strengths, in addition to being a great listener and empowering individuals to explore alternative ways of coping with their symptoms.
